Swimming with dolphins in Cancun in November 2004 is something my doctors would never have envisaged for me in January 2002. Without CCDH and the Angels I doubt I would have made a good enough recovery to travel to Cancun let alone swim in what was a very rough sea with dolphins.

On to more personal updates ...
I finally bought my new dressage horse as mentioned earlier - however things did not work out quite as I had anticipated!! I moved Bharron to a new yard and with the new yard came a new dressage instructor Jade Warman. Jade rides Highlands in dressage for clients and was just the medicine Bharron and I needed to persevere with our dressage partnership, not expecting too much of him and a more easy going approach. Wow! What a result - no more fireworks and a much happier pony. However my quest for another dressage horse had begun and on the journey I set my sights on owning an Andalusian. I had made enquiries and was told this was the best breed for what I required in my new horse, with aptitude for training great patience and calm approach to life in general. I asked my Angel friends and Masters to help me find the perfect horse for me. I looked at horses that were in training and just coming up to be ready for riding but could find nothing that I felt was right for me and besides Bharron was doing so well now I wanted to take my training further with him.
In July whilst making enquiries about an Andalusian for sale I came across a lady called Sam who had an in-foal mare. Intuition said “yes go for it, phone her”. However when I phoned Sam the mare had been sold. She gave me another number to phone and I was in the process of making arrangements to go and see the horse this person was offering for sale when my Angels said “go back to Sam ask if the mare has been sold”. For three weeks every time I thought about going to see the new prospective horse this was the message I got. In the end I phoned Sam and asked her if the mare I had enquired about had actually gone. No she replied but she is being picked up within a few weeks. I explained to her I had been really moved to call her again to enquire about the mare and she said I do have some foals for sale I will send you some pictures and you can see what I have available. When the pictures of mum and dad arrived together with the young Andalusian foal I knew instantly he was the one. It would work perfectly for Bharron and me as the foal would not be able to even begin training until he is three and I would be able to create my partnership with him from a very tender age, something very important to me as I would know exactly what he had been through in his life and there would be no skeletons in the closet regarding his health or previous training.
